A  MYTH  FROM  ATHOS

The monasteries started brewing beer as early as the 5th century and at its peak, more than 600 monasteries in Europe boiled their own beer but only one orthodox monastery in Greece called Athos.
The monks followed the principle of absolute self-sufficiency and it was their duty to provide pilgrims and visitors with food and drink.
The monks have been producing beer for 1,500 years, and during that time, they revolutionized and perfected the beer-making process. The monks must gain their own guarding and donate to the poor by the work of their own hands. In the centuries that followed, the monasteries produced products for sale, such as cheese, honey and, of course, beer.
Beer production served other purposes. Canon describes the monastery's obligation to show hospitality to travelers and pilgrims. Beer was safer to drink in medieval times than water contaminated by sewage, and was therefore served to visitors. Beer was also useful for monks to spend fasting periods in Lent and Arrival. The nutrients of the beer gave her the nickname "wet bread".
From all over the world only one Monastery at MOUNT ATHOS the center of ORTHODOXY in Greece is known for its secret recipe for brewing beer and this proof came to us over many centuries.
We present you the Athonite Beer, a unique beer came with a recipe from the monks of Athos,
a beer with history and eternally hidden taste secrets
